Danny Nicholson has over 20 years teaching/training experience and has delivered training in Primary, Secondary and Special Schools all over the UK and overseas as well as in colleges and universities. He is an accomplished trainer on both Promethean and SMART Interactive whiteboards. He also delivers whiteboard training for corporate and military clients as well as “train the trainer” sessions.
Danny also works as an Initial Teacher Trainer in Science and Computing on Primary PGCE courses at Billericay, Thames and Pilgrim SCITTs and has also delivered lectures for Secondary PGCE courses at universities.
He has written textbooks and training materials in Science and ICT for many different organisations including Heinemann, Serif Software, Imperial College/Twig and BP. He has also written articles for the Association for Science Education’s “Primary Science” and “Education in Science” journals.
Danny also maintains a very successful blog where he shares ideas for using technology in the classroom and he can also be found on web 2.0 sites such as Twitter, del.icio.us, Scribd and Slideshare, among many others.
